The trial of notorious kidnapper, Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike, aka Evans, continues today at the Lagos High Court, Ikeja, Lagos.
Evans and five others were brought to court this morning in cuffs. Evans who was arrested on June 10th, was first arraigned in court on August 30th on a two-count charge of conspiracy and kidnapping. He pled guilty to the charges and was afterward remanded at the maximum Kirikiri prison.
Unlike the first day of his arraignment when heavy security men were stationed within and around the court premises, only two armored tanks were packed at the two entrances to the court this morning.
